The Wildcat & Cougar travel basketball program is for boys & girls who are entering grades 4-6 and reside within the Sylvania Recreation District. Teams will participate in a Northwest Travel Basketball League. We strive to provide a quality travel basketball program to players who have the interest, dedication and abilities to develop through quality instruction, training and expanded number of games against high-caliber opponents.

Our program focuses on the enjoyment of playing basketball in a controlled setting, as well as fundamental training through the drills necessary to properly develop. Boys and girls who live within the Sylvania School District and are currently enrolled in Kindergarten are eligible. The program will operate at the Sports and Exhibition Center at Tam-O-Shanter.
Dates: October 23 – November 13, 2024 (4 sessions)
Grade: Kindergarten
Location: Sports and Exhibition Center at Tam-O-Shanter
Day of Week: Wednesday
Time: 5pm-6pm session OR 6pm-7pm session ( limit 30 participants per session)
Fees: $60 includes t-shirt / $10 additional after deadline
Deadline: October 18, 2024 (or until all spots are filled)
Dates: January 23 – February 13, 2025 (4 sessions)
Grade: Kindergarten

Time: 4pm-4:50pm OR 5pm-5:50pm (limit 30 participants per session)

Time: 9am-5pm (Saturday) / 12pm-5pm (Sunday) / 5pm-9pm (Weekdays)
Fees: $70 includes t-shirt ($10 additional after deadline)

Dates: January 11 – March , 2025 (8 games)

Teams will be organized based on the Elementary or Junior High District school district in which children reside depending on grade level and number of registrations. Special requests can be taken into consideration, however cannot be guaranteed. There can be no more than two players from the same Junior High District on a Winter League roster. This program is open to Sylvania Recreation District residents only.
Separate Leagues for each grade level will be organized if registration numbers allow.
* 7th/8th Graders that make their Junior High school team are not eligible.
Dates: November 24 – Late-January (6 games) / Single-elimination post-season tournament for all teams.
