Children’s Wonderland began as a Northwest Ohio holiday tradition over 50 years ago. On Friday, December 13 the display opens at Sylvania’s Tam-O-Shanter and will run through Dec. 24, 2024.
For decades, families from all over Northwest Ohio have been coming to find the holiday spirit at Children’s Wonderland. As always, dozens of classic exhibits will be on display, train rides will be available, and there will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures with Santa!!!

COLORING CONTEST DETAILS:
- Entries must be submitted to the Sylvania Recreation office in person M-F; 9am-4:30pm or by mail (Sylvania Recreation – 7060 Sylvania Avenue – Sylvania, Ohio 43560)
- DEADLINE: Entries must be received by Friday, Dec. 6
- All coloring pages will be displayed at Children’s Wonderland
- Voting will take place on Facebook on Dec 10 & 11 @Facebook.com/centennialterrace
- Winners will be contacted via email by Thursday, Dec. 12
- Winners can pick up prizes Dec. 13- Dec. 23; 11am-8pm/ Dec. 24; 11am-2pm at Children’s Wonderland admissions booth

Group Rate Information
- Group rates apply to daycare providers, assisted living facilities, and other community organizations. All requests for group rates are subject to review by Sylvania Recreation representatives.
- GROUPS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE, Monday, December 16 – Thursday, December 19, & Monday, December 23 from 9am-11am .
- All requests must be made before 4:00 PM Monday, December 9th to qualify.
- Once the online request form (above) has been completed you will receive a confirmation email within 1-3 business days.
- Train rides will be available to groups.
